Plain-language summary. Blue Tempo is a time tracking app for trade crews. We collect the information needed to run it — account details, the hours your team logs, and job-site location when a teammate clocks in or out. We do not sell your personal information. This page explains the details and your choices. This document is a general template and is not legal advice; please have it reviewed by your own counsel before publishing.

1.Who we are

Blue Tempo (the "Service") is a product of APG Technology LLC ("APG Technology," "Blue Tempo," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Blue Tempo mobile app, our website at bluetempo.app, and related services.

This policy applies to two kinds of people: administrators (business owners and managers who create an account and manage a workspace) and teammates (crew members invited to track time). When a business uses Blue Tempo to manage its workforce, that business is responsible for how it configures the Service and for informing its teammates about time and location tracking as required by law.

2.Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide

  • Account information — the details used to create and manage your account and workspace.
  • Workforce information — the teammate, project, and time-tracking information you enter to use the Service, including information needed to calculate pay.
  • Payment information — the billing details needed to process your subscription. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • Communications — information you provide when you contact us or request support.

Information we collect automatically

  • Location data — when a teammate clocks in or out, we collect a GPS location reading to confirm the punch occurred within a project's designated radius and to power off-site alerts. See the next section for details.
  • Device & usage data — device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and interactions with the Service (features used, pages viewed, timestamps).
  • Cookies & similar technologies — used on our website as described in Section 6.

3.Location & time data

Location is core to how Blue Tempo works. When a teammate clocks in or out, the app records a location reading so an administrator can confirm that hours were logged within the job-site radius they set for a project, and so the Service can flag time logged outside that radius.

  • We collect location at the moment of a clock-in or clock-out event, and, where an administrator enables continuous or background tracking during an active shift, while a teammate is on the clock. We do not track location when a teammate is off the clock.
  • Mobile operating systems require your permission before the app can access location. Teammates can review and change location permissions at any time in their device settings, though disabling location may limit or prevent time tracking.
  • Administrators are responsible for notifying their teammates about location and time tracking and for obtaining any consent required by applicable employment or privacy laws.

4.How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including time tracking, payroll calculations, reporting, and PDF/CSV exports;
  • Verify that time is logged within project boundaries and generate off-site alerts;
  • Process subscriptions, billing, and free trials;
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts;
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service, including service-related notices;
  • Monitor and improve performance, features, and reliability;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

5.How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Within your workspace — a teammate's time, location punches, and related data are visible to the administrators of the business that invited them.
  • Service providers (subprocessors) — we share information with vendors that help us run the Service, bound by contracts limiting their use of the data. Our key subprocessors are listed below.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of APG Technology, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

7.Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Time and payroll records may be retained to meet recordkeeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Administrators can request deletion of a workspace as described in Section 9.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the categories of information described in Section 2 for the business purposes described in Section 4. 12.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use of Blue Tempo after an update means you accept the revised policy.
